Chelsea Chang offers both in-person sessions at her Mount Holly office and virtual sessions via Zoom, catering to clients in the states of New Jersey, Delaware, Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas, or Utah. This provides flexibility and accessibility for individuals seeking her support and guidance.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Negative thought patterns about the self and the world are identified and challenged to alter unwanted behavior patterns and improve emotional well-being. CBT is particularly effective for treating mood disorders such as depression and anxiety by helping clients develop healthier thinking habits and coping mechanisms.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

‘Dialectical’ means understanding how two things that seem opposite could both be true. DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with concepts of mindfulness to teach skills such as emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. This approach is especially beneficial for individuals struggling with intense emotions and relationship issues.

Attachment-Based Therapy

This therapy focuses on building secure attachments by exploring past relationships and their impact on current behavior and emotions. Clients learn how to trust and form healthy relationships with themselves and others, fostering a sense of security and emotional stability. It is particularly useful for those who have experienced early attachment disruptions or trauma.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

An evidence-based approach designed to facilitate and engage intrinsic motivation within the client to change behavior. MI is particularly effective for individuals struggling with addiction, as it helps them explore and resolve ambivalence, enhance their motivation to change, and commit to specific goals.

Coaching

A goal-oriented process that helps clients achieve concrete objectives, identify and overcome obstacles, and develop skills for personal and professional success. Coaching focuses on practical strategies for improving well-being and performance, supporting clients in their journey towards achieving their full potential and creating a fulfilling life.

Insurance & Fees

Various insurances, including Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield (commercial plans), Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Advantage, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Oscar Health, Oxford, Optum, Tricare East, Tricare West, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Utah Medicaid are accepted. A session fee is $150 for 45 or 60 minutes, with opportunities for a sliding scale. More insurance plans coming soon!
