A supportive space for healing
This is a skills-based group for women seeking emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and inner stability.
The Women’s DBT Group is designed for women who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of intense relationships, or exhausted by patterns of people-pleasing, self-criticism, or burnout. This group offers a compassionate and structured space to learn practical skills while feeling seen and understood.
Drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), group members learn skills in:
Emotion regulation
Understanding and managing emotions so they feel more balanced, predictable, and less overwhelming.
distress tolerance
Building skills to get through intense emotions or crisis moments without making the situation worse.
mindfulness
Learning how to stay present and aware of your thoughts, emotions, and body without judgment.
interpersonal effectiveness
Developing the ability to communicate needs, set boundaries, and maintain relationships while respecting yourself.
This group is especially supportive for women navigating trauma histories, relationship instability, mood dysregulation, anxiety, or difficulty setting boundaries.
participants will:
Learn tools to manage emotional intensity without shutting down or exploding
Practice assertive communication and boundary-setting
Build self-trust and emotional resilience
Experience connection and validation in a safe group setting
The group is facilitated by Chelsea Chang, LCSW, LCADC, ICADC with a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens. This is a skills-based group, not a process group, and is best suited for individuals who are ready to practice tools between sessions.
📌 Ideal for women who want structure, support, and real-world skills- not just insight.
